How To Earn Node Points

Node Points are earned through several layers of network interaction:

1. Network Earnings

Connect to the internet through the Nodepay extension, and you earn points automatically.

For every hour you’re connected, you can accrue a maximum of 60 Node points from your device’s idle bandwidth.

The amount you earn is based on the quality of your connection, bandwidth use, time, location, and several additional factors, determined by Nodepay’s network model. The better your connection, the higher your earnings.

2. Referral Earnings

Beyond network earnings, Referral Earnings are the best way to increase your points. By inviting others to join Nodepay, you earn a percentage of every point they generate from their node and internet connection.

In short, you earn whenever your friends (and their friends) are connected to the internet.

Referral Earnings Tiers:

• Primary referrals (Tier 0): Earn 20% of your primary referrals earnings.
• Secondary referrals (Tier 1): Earn 10% from the users your friends invite.
• Tertiary referrals (Tier 2): Earn 5% from your friend’s friend’s friend.

3. Connect your Socials

Prove you are a human and earn extra! Connect your social media account and verify your email to jumpstart your earnings.

1. A user with 0 referrals (earning solely from their internet connection).
2. A user with 5 referrals.
3. A user with 20 referrals.

Note: For these examples, assume all users spend 5 hours per day connected to the internet through the Nodepay Extension.

Example 1: Solo User with 0 Referrals

User A — ‘Nigel Node’ connects to the internet using the Nodepay extension. But Nigel has no friends to invite. How much can Nigel earn?

• Earning Rate: Maximum of 60 Nodepay points per hour.
• Daily Usage: Nigel averages 5 hours of internet connection per day.
• Daily Earnings: 60 points/hour × 5 hours/day = 300 points/day
• Monthly Earnings: 300 points/day × 30 days = 9,000 points/month

Scenario 2: User with 5 Referrals

User B — ‘Social Sally’ earns from her personal connection and also refers 5 equally active friends.

• Direct Referral Earnings: Sally earns 20% from each of her referral’s earnings.
• Personal Earnings: 9,000 points/month (from own connection, as calculated above).
• Referral Earnings: 9,000 points/month × 20% × 5 friends = 9,000 points/month.
• Total Monthly Earnings: 9,000 points (self) + 9,000 points (from referrals) = 18,000 points/month.

Scenario 3: User with 20 Referrals

User C — ‘Popular Pete’ earns a passive income from his connection, but his real rewards come from the 20 friends he invited.

• Direct Referral Earnings: Pete earns an additional 20% from each of his 20 primary referrals.
• Personal Earnings: 9,000 points/month (from own connection).
• Referral Earnings: 9,000 points/month × 20% × 20 friends = 36,000 points/month.

Total Monthly Earnings: 9,000 points (self) + 36,000 points (from referrals) = 45,000 points/month.

Note: These examples do not include any compounding points earned from Secondary or Tertiary invites.
